After completing the MBA program in India, should I join the Bachelor of Laws?
From a program point of view, you can definitely join LLB:
As of now (August 2017), there is no upper age limit for the 3-year or 5-year Bachelor of Laws program. (BCI’s previous notice to impose the age limit has been shelved by the court.)
If you have completed graduation (10 + 2 + 3 or 10 + 2 + 4) and require a minimum score (depending on the university)-you can register for LLB courses at any university.
From a professional perspective:
If you are willing to spend the time, energy and money to complete a law degree, then obtaining this degree is a good qualification.
With the increasing globalization and the complexity of business and life, the opportunities for legal professionals are growing significantly in all sectors. Therefore, MBA + LLB will be a good academic qualification.

The Bachelor of Laws also allows you to start practicing as an independent lawyer at any time in the future-even if you quit your job or quit company life (you must pass AIBE)
Summary: From a program point of view, you can study LLB after MBA, and the decision will depend on what you want to achieve through LLB.
India lacks high-quality legal professionals, so there will always be opportunities.
But remember, as a newly graduated student, you will basically start in a new field with no experience (unless you can somehow use your past experience and show it as relevant).
According to the decision of the Legal Education Committee, the upper age limit may be changed in the future, and the basis will be based on the results of the submitted request for age restrictions.

What are the benefits of doing BA LLB?
It is BBA + LLB or your question is about BA + LLB. But the answer is the same-if you want, just read BBA as BA
Let us look at the problem from the perspective of time.
The BBA degree is a 3-year course
The Bachelor of Laws is a 3-year course
Therefore, if you complete the BBA first and then obtain the Bachelor of Laws, you will spend 6 years to obtain the BBA + LLB.
The comprehensive dual degree 5-year Bachelor of Laws program will provide you with BCom / BBA / BA + LLB-so you can save a year.
I want to be an academic philosopher. I currently hold a bachelor’s degree in law. Should I study BA philosophy and then MA, or should I apply for MA directly?
Can you become a law intern more than 15 years after you have completed your law degree?
Between NLIU Bhopal and NLUJ, is this a better place to learn BA LLB?
Can I do an LLB after BCom?
Where should I do LLB?
Let us look at the problem from the perspective of career planning.
If you want to eventually earn a law degree, then it makes sense to take a comprehensive BBA law degree program.
But remember:
- This is a five-year commitment
- According to college/university regulations, if you decide to withdraw halfway, you may not be able to obtain a BBA degree.
If you are not sure about your long-term career plan, you should complete the BBA first before deciding on the MBA/LLB.
Let’s look at the problem from the perspective of employment prospects
If you plan to study a BBA + LLB comprehensive five-year course, the National Law School (National School of Law) has higher results in campus placement and company career opportunities than ordinary universities.
The best law firms from all over India recruit from the NLU campus; graduates from other universities do not have the same advantages.
A 5-year LLB graduate from a regular university will be considered by the recruiter as a 3-year LLB graduate from the same/university.
[*Some university law schools do have campus placement, but they usually do not attract first-level law firms]
Bottom line: The decision to BBA or BBA + LLB really depends on your long-term professional ambitions and personal preferences.
BBA + LLB saves you one year, but it takes a five-year commitment.
Completing the BBA first will give you the opportunity to choose MBA/LLB/employment after graduation.
If BBA + LLB is your decision, then our goal is to allow India’s national law schools and top universities to obtain the highest return on degree investment from an employment perspective.
If your goal is independent practice, it doesn’t matter where and how you complete your law degree. Public relations management, contacts and business development skills will be the key to success.
